Alicia's employee Robin graduated this year and is moving to Chicago. Harts N Crafts will definitely miss her fashion sense!!

These are the preliminary logo designs for a company called "Like A Duck."

This past week I spent my time working on a variety of new projects. This was a sketch for a tattoo design. If that doesn't work out, then I'll likely work up the drawing for the Radical Nautical show opening at Gallery Lombardi this summer. Plans are also in motion for bringing to life the mermacrabicorn, which my friends Chris Johnson and Ryan Parker drew on my forearm for my birthday Dec 9th. (check out the blog entry for it)

The last couple days I've been working on a character for Third Rail Creative (Austin, TX) called Dr. Gilzot. He is a web avator or fictional character for a website, directly tied to AOL, that helps prep students for the SAT. I sketched him by hand and then inked and colored him in Adobe Illustrator using my Wacom tablet - a digital pen and pad that immulates using a real pen. They were very excited about how it turned out and wound up asking for two more poses, that were simple modifications of the initial illustration.
