Alicia rescued some little kittens that she found behind her store. They are just adorable.

So I finished inking the illustration, as seen here, and added color. Check out the final version on my website.

Today I began working on piece that I'm thankfully able to show. It's a project for my friend Larry, who edited my mural slideshow together. He's writing this screenplay called "10th Floor" with another old fraternity brother named David Gamradt. Its a horror flick about this group of people who are trapped in this building and terrible things begin to happen.
This sketch is what I submitted for approval, and then I added the type afterwards for fun. Nothing is final right now, but hopefully by later today.

Stage two. I painted the purple tone, which matches the trim and windows of the house indoors and had to stop to drive back to Austin. This picture was taken on Thursday.

I started a new mini-mural for the front register of Harts N Crafts in Waco, TX. I forgot how much I missed painting outside my studio, meeting people and talking. Not that I don't enjoy my studio time too. Ironically I tend to make more distractions at home.
