We spent the weekend in Abilene at the convention center for Christmas in November - a big pre-holidays craft-palooza. Alicia had a double booth for her store and was selling her awesome products. My father-in-law, David, was in tune with the holiday spirit after 3+ hours of bleaching and toning at the local cosmotology school. He's easily going to be the most convincing Santa w/ real hair! Everyone who saw it, loved it and after seeing it a couple days, it was difficult to imagine him different.

Man Vs Beast

I happened upon this interesting moment while wandering around the baylor campus. I couldn't believe my fortune. It was totally quiet when my shutter snapped and the student quickly looked back at me. "Hey, I took your picture!" I quickly called out, trying to avoid an awkward moment. He was happy to find out I wasn't with the Lariat (Baylor Newspaper) and didn't plan on putting him front page. He went on to tell me that he often watched squirrels and had heard them bark at him before. That I did not know they could do.

White Water Rafting. Today we returned from our vacation in Colorado for the "Radical Nautical" art show at Gallery Lombardi. Good news, the Mermacrabicorn won best in show. Thanks to everyone who came out and voted to show your support. It was close apparently. We had a terrific time on our trip and will be leaving again for a family reunion in west Texas. I can't wait for the driving to be over!
