Yay! It finally comes together! I've been working hard these last couple weeks to put together this comp and I'm really happy with the way it turned out. A lot of the detail is lost in a picture this small, so unfortunately you'll have to come by the actual mural when it's done to see what I'm talking about... but the picture has a lot of exciting content and is a unique style in mural art. I plan to start within a week and then I have until November 16th to finish it. Which will likely be a whirl wind, but it's manageable. The good news is that it is already scheduled to be featured in at least one magazine, possibly two. The first magazine "Illustration Techniques" is hiring me to write a 4 page article on my process in doing the mural, and the other, "Nu Magazine," is a start up magazine that writes about young up and coming artists. They met me at the "Beyond Scanner" art show and asked if I'd be willing to be a featured artist.

Looks good. And looks like alot of work. I'm excited to see it finished and up on a wall.

It will definitely be a lot of work! I'm so excited to get started on it, but there seems to be delay after delay. First the owner leaves town, then it rains the entire week he gets back. Hopefully I will catch a break soon and I can finally begin the process.

That looks great, Aaron! I'm very impressed. Can't wait to see it up on the wall in Austin.

Hey Paul! I'm excited you like it! When it's all done, you guys should come down for the completion party. There will probably be some of the featured artists on the wall walking around in person. I'm not sure when that would be, if it happens at all. I'll keep you posted.
